Our Elders

The office of church elder is biblically instituted and a key element of a Presbyterian church’s leadership and government.   With the pastoral staff, the elders are responsible for directing the church in matters of doctrine, finances, church discipline and vision.  For more information on how our elders are elected and their duties, please see the PCA Book of Church Order (Chapter 8).

Elders are also responsible for shepherding the flock.  This means is that our elders love to care for this congregation.  They are men who teach, encourage and pray for those in our body.  We have recently changed the way our elders shepherd so we can better connect with the congregation.  View more information on that change here.

Elders are available at the front of the sanctuary after every Sunday morning service for prayer.  If you would like someone to pray with or need someone to stand along side you during any situation, please do not hesitate to come forward.  We would love to meet with you.  Also, if you are in need of healing according to James 5 or have other needs throughout the week, please email an elder or contact the church office to be put in touch with an elder.
