 Welcome to our Children's Ministry, O-Kids! As we strive to be faithful in telling the next generation the glorious deeds of the Lord we hope that our ministry will help both kids and adults feel a warm sense of community among our covenant family. Our Mission Statement
We desire to build a covenant community
and raise our covenant children to:
- Know God (sovereignty)
- Know God’s Word (redemptively)
- Understand God’s grace through Christ Jesus

At Maitland Community Preschool we believe that each child is uniquely created by God. The purpose of our preschool is to help children grow spiritually, intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically. We believe parents should be the primary teachers of their children, therefore our role is to support and encourage parents in the nurture and training of their children. We believe that children learn best in a loving, caring environment where they may experience the awe and wonder of God’s world through hands-on, developmentally appropriate activities.
As Maitland Community Preschool is a ministry of Orangewood Presbyterian Church, we support the Children’s Ministries mission and vision statements of teaching children to:
