Women's Ministry

Orangewood is blessed to have a very active Women’s Ministry.  Our purpose is to equip women through Bible studies and fellowship to love and serve God in their homes, church, workplace and community.  The women who participate in this ministry love meeting new people and welcome anyone interested in joining them in their activities.  The following is a list of some of our activities.   It is our hope and prayer that you will join us and call Orangewood your church home.

Join us on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 for our Fall Kickoff at 9:15am and also 7:00pm in The Upper Room (260)

In a small, more intimate environment there are:

  • Bible Studies
  • Prayer Groups (Missions, Women’s Ministry, Moms In Touch)

In a larger setting:

  • Spring Retreat
  • Service Opportunities
  • Missionary Support
  • Quarterly Lunches and Dinners
  • Special Events throughout the year such as brunches and speakers

The Women’s Bible Studies have many wonderful opportunities for you during the entire year.  Our Bible studies start in January, June and September.  Each quarter the Bible studies meet on Tuesday mornings from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. in room 260 of the educational building (the Upper Room) and Tuesday evenings from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. During the summer, there are also studies to choose from. For more information or suggestions, please email Dawn Bradley, our Women’s Ministries Coordinator.
