Pastor's Welcome

Hello!

Thank you for visiting our website and for your interest in our church. I'm Jeff Jakes, and it is my privilege to be the Senior Pastor of Orangewood Presbyterian Church.

At Orangewood our motto is:  "For Christ and His Kingdom. It's NOT about us." Our belief is that the church is the primary vehicle God uses to advance Christ's Kingdom.  In other words, we are the "A Plan" God uses for expanding His rule on earth.  We take the mandate seriously that we are to be a "city on a hill" and that we are to love God and our neighbors as ourselves.  The Good News of the Gospel message compels us to engage in building bridges to our community.

We have the greatest story ever to tell, and we have a world in need of the message of Jesus' saving, redeeming love for us.  We invite you to visit with us for Sunday morning worship at 10:45 and at 9:15 for our Equipping Center (Sunday school) classes.  Please note our other ministry opportunities on the website and join us as we strive to advance Christ's Kingdom in Central Florida.
